Lion Rawle Gibson proudly became a member of the Lions Club of Bridgetown in April 2006.
From inception, he has consistently contributed to his club either by engaging in supporting roles or by undertaking significant leadership roles such as committee chairperson, Vice President, Club President (2013–2014), and twice distinguishing himself as Club Secretary.
Lion Rawle has held various positions at the zone, region, and district levels and has been recognised for his invaluable service. He had the honour of serving as Zone 3A Chairperson (Barbados) from 2022 – 2023.
Serving at the various levels has allowed Lion Rawle to collaborate with Lions and Leos from other clubs and countries in the district, while building lasting relationships and friendships, which he believes is critical to our development, outlook and impact as Lions.
Professionally, Lion Rawle has worked in the Information and Communications Technology sector for over 30 years and currently runs an ICT company.
Often seen sporting a smile, Lion Rawle has been called on occasions to extract tail twisting fines for club, zone and district meetings.
He still maintains a perfect 100% attendance record from 2006 until present.
